Our Mission

The MISSION of the WYOMING COUNTY CONCERNED TAXPAYERS' POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEE is to serve as a tax WATCHDOG for all forms of government, from local municipalities to the federal level. We are a proactive, non-partisan group, dedicated to easing the burden of taxation, establishing good honest and fair government, and ensuring good quality education for our youth. We will evaluate government and school spending, and hold officials accountable for proper use and or misuse of our hard earned tax money. We will scrutinize all present cost control measures, make sure that any proposed tax increases are necessary, reasonable, and justified, and address our elected officials with a strong unified voice. We will attend certain county, school, and local municipality business meetings so we can develop an understanding of what spending controls are currently in place, make suggestions to the leadership on how to improve cost control measures, cut spending efficiently, and present reorganization plans for better efficient government. We will strive to have taxes lowered and refunds made whenever appropriate. Tax increases affect us all, no matter if you own property or not. All citizens are welcome and invited to attend meetings.
