Our Officers

VETO BARZILOSKI, SR serves as the Chairman. Born and raised in Tunkhannock. He graduated from Tunkhannock Area High School in 1972 and shortly after left for the United States Marine Corps. He was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant in 1976, at which time he joined the family business of landscape contracting, nursery, and Christmas tree growers. To date he operates Bennie's Nurseries, Inc. with his wife and three sons. While in the Marine Corps he learned to fly and currently holds an active pilot license. He was a member of the Tunkhannock Area School Board for four years. He was on the Penn State Co-opperative Extension Board in Wyoming County Northern Tier region and state for several years. Veto also served on the Christmas Tree Advisory Task Force at Penn State and was a member of the Northern Tier Hardwood Association. He is an active member of the Osterhout Bible Church and served on the Board of Deacons. Being a life long resident and business man in Wyoming County, Veto is excited about working with this group and is determined to keep taxes at a minimum and insure that these monies are spent properly.
