RIGHT TO KNOW ACT
  • On January 1, 2009 the Right to Know Act went into effect
  • The Act was approved by Govenor Rendell
  • The Act allows you to obtain financial records from governments and municipalities
  • By law all agencies must provide the information requested
  • This will help us to be able to analyze government spending
  • There is a fee of twenty-five cents per sheet
  • You may be required to fill out a request form
  • They have five days to give you the requested information
