

RIGHT TO KNOW
RIGHT TO KNOW ACT
- On January 1, 2009 the Right to Know Act went into effect
- The Act was approved by Govenor Rendell
- The Act allows you to obtain financial records from governments and municipalities
- By law all agencies must provide the information requested
- This will help us to be able to analyze government spending
- There is a fee of twenty-five cents per sheet
- You may be required to fill out a request form
- They have five days to give you the requested information
